day 20

Today in class we basically did what we did yesterday. we just sat in class and took notes watching a video and listening to our teacher talk. i feel like i took good notes but the couldve been better. it was really hard trying to figure out what was important and what was not. the guy in the video mad everything seem important even if it wasnt at all. we honestly just copied down a bunch of questions and talked about them in class. it was an overall decent class today.

Day 19

Today in class we go our tests back and I didn’t do as good as I expected. I wasn’t happy at the moment. We also looked at a power point and took a whole lot of notes. It was all about physiology. There were a ton of questions and we were just basically copying all of them down. We also watched a video about physiology. It was pretty cool and interesting and I think it helped with my understanding of physiology. We took notes all the way until the end of class which was pretty boring but I can deal with it as long as we don’t do it everyday.

day 18

today in class we were supposed to get our test back but we couldn't because someone else had to finish it. Todays class was also pretty fun, we were told we have a project due in 3 weeks so it was good to know early so we can get stated faster and be more accurate. My part of the project is to make armor and shields out of cardboard. It is going to be fun because i have all my friends in my group. We all work well together too so that will make it easier. Im not sure how im going to go about making the armor but i think i have an idea. It will be fun.

Day 17

Today in class we talked about a man who talked to little children and he relied on scrience rather then gods and all the things the normal people believed in, our teacher told us that he got in a lot of trouble for what he did and when it went to court there are over 500 member that we’re deciding whether we was guilty or not. The thing is, he didn’t even deny what he did. He told them that he did it and that he would take the death penalty. So he did. He had to drink poison which killed him slowly. He had a horrible death. Today the Greeks think of him as one of the smartest people to ever live.

Overall that class was fun because after the test we just got to sit there and really do nothing. We read in the text book but once we were done that we could just sit there. It was a fun day. not just because i feel like i did good on the test but because we got to chill in class after.

day 11

today in class we learned about the greek gods. my favorite god was Zues because he is the  ruler of heaven and earth; father of Athena; god of the sky, weather, thunder, lightning, law, order, and justice. we also learned about Dionysus who is the god of wine and was the son of Zeus (a god) and of Semele (a human princess). we also learned about Athena who was Goddess of wisdom, skill,  warfare (and peace), intelligence, battle strategy, and handicrafts. there were more gods but i thought those were the coolest ones.

day 10

Today in class we typed our essay. Here is some of  what i wrote. " The leaders of Greece had a big impact on Greek history. Leaders such as Cleisthenes, Isagoras, Draco, Solon, and Hippias. All of these leaders had a big impact on Greek history in their own way. Draco, who started ruling in 621 B.C. was the first recorded legislator of Athens in Ancient Greece . He replaced the prevailing system of oral law and blood feud by a written code to be enforced only by a court. Under Draco, death was the punishment for many crimes that were commited. "
