In class Today we learned about some of the laws the Greeks used to have and the people that used to rule The Athenians. We talked about Draco, Solon, Hippias, Isagoras, and Cleisthenes. In class when we talks about those six guys, i noticed that they were all the ruler of the Athenians once before. I also learned that the Greeks were the first to rise up and dethrone their ruler. The story is that when Isagoras became ruler the people wanted Cleisthenes so they dethroned Isagoras and made Cleisthenes the ruler.

Scott Smith                                                                                                                                   1-26-18 Today in Mr. Schicks Western civ class we talked about the greek government and all the other types of governments that exists. The greeks had a government called a tyrant. The greeks were the ones who created a democracy but not until later in there existence. In class we listened to Mr Schick talked about the greeks government and we also talked about Homer who was blind and wrote two famous books. Also in the beginning of class The teacher gave us cookies. They were good.

He was a blind man who went from place to place, town to town. He composed 2 books. "The Iliad" and "The Odyssey." We talked about how he might not be real because in his day there are no writing about him. They ate but didn't have much to choose from. They loved Fish. It was there favorite of all foods. Eel was their favorite kind of fish but a lot could not afford it due to how expensive it was.
